Sounds like a great twist on a classic tale!

Get swept away in the first book of the sensational romantic drama that is Romeo & Juliet meets Justified.

WHAT HAPPENS when the teenage heirs of two bitterly FEUDING FAMILIES can’t stay away from each other?

The Rhodales and the Whitfields have been sworn enemies for close on a hundred years, with a whole slew of adulterous affairs, financial backstabbing, and blackmailing that’s escalated the rivalry to its current state of tense ceasefire.

And now a meth lab explosion in rural Whitfield County is set to reignite the feud more viciously than ever before. Especially when the toxic fire that results throws together two unlikely spectators—proper good girl Victoria Whitfield, exiled from boarding school after her father’s real estate business melts down in disgrace, and town motorcycle rebel Mickey Rhodale, too late as always to thwart his older brothers’ dangerous drug deals.

Victoria and Mickey are about to find out the most passionate romances are the forbidden ones.

. . . ON A POWDER KEG FULL OF PENT-UP DESIRE, risk-taking daredevilry, and the desperate actions that erupt when a generation of teens inherits nothing but hate.

  1. Family feud like Romeo and Juliet sounds good!

    My WOW

  2. Oh I'm also super interested in this book - but the cover looks like an adult romance... lol :)

  3. I haven't heard of this one before but it sounds really interesting. I hope you'll get to read it soon :)

    Here is our WOW

  4. Haven't heard of this one either! Hope you enjoy it once you read it!

  5. Ooh sounds pretty intense. I have to admit, I'm fairly curious. I don't know, but thanks for putting it on my radar!

  6. This one sounds AWESOME and is definitely on my wishlist. Gives me a Hatfields and McCoy's feel with the rural feuding families (moreso than the Romeo and Juliet vibe they're going for -- though I suppose more teens know about Shakespeare than a country feud.).

  7. I added this to my tbr pile! I think I'm really going to like it.

  8. This looks good. Hope you get to read it soon!

  9. I've just put this on my tbr pile. It sounds like it will be a great dramatic story!

  10. I think of the Hatfields and McCoys when I read this synopsis, too. It definitely sounds interesting. Great pick!

  11. I must read this. Never heard of this for but I will read anything R&J. *.* Need this.

  12. I'm curious about this one and I wonder if I'd like it. I'll look forward to reading your thoughts if you get a chance to read it before me.

  13. Um, wow at first I thought the cover looked kind of of odd (it looks more contemporary Harlequin than YA) but the synopsis sounds pretty interesting. I need to add it to my TBR.

  14. I like the sound of this one especially with the addition of the meth lab causing additional trouble.

  15. Pretty cover :) seems like a great book! Hope you'll love it when you get to read it. <3
