In My Mailbox (39)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren.

I'm Alison. I've been blogging for....

ONE YEAR!!!!

My blogoversary was June 4!

I review mainly YA with a few MG books and a weekly manga feature.

I haven't done IMM in a few weeks, so I have a number of books to report. I may forget a few, but this is most of them.

Review

Stupid Fast by Geoff Herbach

Jabberwocky by Daniel Coleman

  8. Congratulations on your anniversary, Alison! :D I'm super happy to see Waterfall and Cascade on your list. I have nothing but love for this series so I hope you enjoy it, too! And Game of Thrones! I lovelovelove the show, and I have the book, but I've been so slow at reading it. The show is already ahead so I might just wait until the season is over to read it (and the other books in the series). LONG COMMENT IS LONG. :P Happy reading!

  27. Happy Blogoversary!

Great list of books this week. I need to read the Fever series. I've got DarkFever but haven't read it yet. The Lisa Bergren books sound really interesting. I've read her fiction for adults but haven't tried the YA books yet. I liked City of Fallen Angels but it wasn't as good as the earlier books. The Geeks Shall Inherit the Earth looks fascinating. I ordered it for my library but I haven't had the opportunity to read it yet. I was definitely a "band geek" in high school as well as other kinds of geek (I was also on the scholastic team so that made me an academic geek too!) :)

BTW about the comment you left. Most of the author like Keirsten White, Ally Condie, and Aprilynne Pike actually all live in UT. So does James Dashner, Elana Johnson and Bree Despain. Just an FYI, since I'm sure you'll be going to a lot of YA events when you move there. Hopefully you'll like it more then you think. :D
