In My Mailbox (8)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren.

Another successful week of library acquisitions. I made a trip out to a recently remodeled library north of town on Saturday and picked up a few books on a whim.

Book Stash of the Week:

Diamond of Drury Lane by Julia Golding
The Luxe by Anna Godberson

Emma vol. 3 by Kaoru Mori
Emma vol. 4 by Kaoru Mori
Emma vol. 5 by Kaoru Mori
Emma vol. 6 by Kaoru Mori

CD Stash of the Week:

Boxer by The National (love this one!)
I Speak Because I Can by Laura Marling (even better than her first album!)
Stir The Blood by The Bravery (still undecided)

  1. Great books! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun reading them! :)

  2. Oh, nice books! I really need to read The Luxe. I'm sure it's amazing!

I love Laura Marling, too! I don't own any of her CDs but I have them on my iPod. Enjoy!

  3. +JMJ+

I've never heard of Emma. The illustrations make me think "Amelia Bedelia meets Jane Eyre"!

  4. You got some awesome reads this week! EMMA is such a great series!! I hope you like it :)

You asked about Swan over at my blog - Yes, I have heard of it. It is a classic series about a girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina. The US publisher closed up shop, though, so unless another pub rescues it, the series won't be completed in English :(

  5. Hello! There is an award for you over at my blog!

  6. I liked the Luxe series...and how is the Emma series?

    Enjoy your books!

  7. I've watched some of the Emma anime, but haven't read the manga. Great mailbox! My IMM Birthday Edition is here.

    From the Shadows

  8. I hope that you enjoy your books. Here is what I got IN MY MAILBOX

  9. No, I've never seen/heard of these Emma stories either - something I must remedy as they look great.

  10. Fun! I haven't read The Luxe, it's one of those books I keep meaning to get around to but just haven't yet... enjoy!

I love comments. I appreciate every one! Thank you in advance.

This blog is now an award free zone. I just don't have time to pass on the awards as they deserve.
