Harry Potter

Books I Read This Week

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

*I finished the series last night!!! I stayed up until 4 AM! The 5th Annual Harry Potter Re-Read is complete! I read the whole series in less than 2 weeks - a new record! (I really do think this is worthy of exclamation points at the end of every sentence!)

Check out my Harry Potter Questions to Ponder and look forward to more on Monday!

Books Received This Week

*These are only some of the books I've bought or received over the past few months.

Netgalley

Every Day by David Levithan

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman

Bought on Audible

The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling

*About 1/3 through. It's okay.

A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson

The Chaperone by Laura Moriarty

Internet Finds

I am very late to the game, but I finally started watching John and Hank Green's Vlogbrothers videos!!!! I started at the very beginning...a very good place to start.

It took me a month, but I have finished watching every video of 2007's Brotherhood 2.0. Who else is a Vlogbrothers fan?

NERDFIGHTERS!!!!!

  1. I read Walk in the Woods several years ago. I really enjoyed it.

  2. WOO, you're a Nerdfighter now!!! I have been a fan of theirs since July 2007 when Hank posted his Accio Deathly Hallows video! And I'll be a fan as long as they are posting videos, that's for sure! I also really love their offspring projects The Lizzie Bennett Diaries, SciShow, and Crash Course. And yeah, finishing the HP series in less than two weeks is definitely deserving of many exclamation points!!

  4. All 3 books you got are ones I want to read. Interesting that you got Casual Vacancy on audio - I don't think I've seen any reviews for that medium yet.

  7. I have been debating getting my own set of Harry Potter for college but I feel like it would suck away a lot of time I don't have. That said it will probably happen at some point.
