Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed

-Ugh. This is painful. I have to read it for book club, but I really am not enjoying it. If Oprah likes it, that usually means I don't.

  4. Nice. Anytime Oprah recommends a book I run in the other direction. I read what I want to read. That's why I don't do book clubs. Nice.

  11. I love that you said if Oprah liked it, you usually don't. That's hilarious, I feel the same way. I thought I was the only person out there who didn't live by the Oprah book club lol. I'm totally jealous of the other two books. The one looks like it takes place in Russia, my husband used to livethere so we love all things Russia. The Downton Abbey looks good too, I love that show so I'd probably love the book too :)

  12. Shadow and Bone sounds AWESOME, I'm slightly jealous! I can't wait to pick it up once my book ban is over. I don't think I've ever read anything that Oprah's specifically recommended, but maybe that's a good thing!

  22. I tend to agree with you about Oprah books. If she likes it, I plan to avoid it. I did like Shadow and Bone which isn't anywhere close to an Oprah book. My new book posts are at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!
