Guest Posts Needed! My 3 Books

August and September are going to be very busy for me. I am moving from California to Montana in about three weeks. Then I'm going to be traveling in Europe for a few weeks. An exciting time that is sure to be full of stress and fun. Given my packed schedule, it will be hard for me to maintain my regular posting. I still want to keep the blog active, so I'd like to put up guest posts.

Not just any guest posts, but guest posts with a theme.

Have you ever heard or read the Three Books series on NPR? Check out Three Books on NPR's website. Authors tell us about three books on a single theme.

Recent themes include "3 Books on Scandalous Teachers," "3 Books That Should Be Movies," "3 Books That Take Flight," etc.

Here's what I'm proposing for guest posts:

1) What are your three books?

2) They can be based on any theme - but please stick to YA. For example, "3 Books That Make Me Want To Move To Montana," "3 Books Where The Dog Dies In The End," etc.

3) Include the title and authors of each book (obviously) and a paragraph describing each.

4) Include a brief description of you and your blog. Plus a link to your blog button if you have one.

How many guest posts do I need?

Not sure. Maybe about 12, but my schedule is still up in the air.

When will the posts go up?

Also not sure. I plan on emailing each person to let them know the date that the posts will go up. I'll probably have everything scheduled in early to mid August.

If you'd like to be featured as a guest poster on Alison Can Read, please e-mail me with your 3 Books at alisoncanread@gmail.com!!

    1. Nope, they can be published today or 300 years ago. Whatever floats your boat.

  8. This sounds fun. I can think of many great books to write about. :)

And Europe? Montana? That's so cool. You get your own adventures, just like in the books! Hope it goes smoothly (and that no mythological monsters attack you, like they do in the books). :D
