It's time for the weekly book blogger hops again! A great opportunity to meet new bloggers and say hi to old.
Check out the Book Blogger Hop hosted by Crazy For Books.
GIVEAWAY! I'm giving away a SIGNED copy of Book Crush by Nancy Pearl. Go HERE to enter!
I'm Alison. I've been blogging for four months. I review mainly YA with a few MG books and a weekly manga feature.
Currently, I'm in the middle of Harry Pott-ober! Throughout October, I'll be doing my Third Annual Harry Potter Re-Read. Check out my post about it here.
Books Reviewed This Week:
Dengeki Daisy vol. 1 by Kyousuke Motomi
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling (very detailed review!)
Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
Questions of the Week:
Blog Hop: What do you do when you just can't get into a book? If I feel like a book will eventually get better, I slog through. Other times, I put it down and pick it up a few days later when I have more patience. Or I just give up.
Follow Friday: What is your reading suggestion this week? I highly recommend Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta. I also just finished Pies & Prejudice by Heather Vogel Frederick and Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Child. Both are cute, sweet fluff.
And also check out Parajunkee's Follow My Book Blog Friday.

Hi, I'm a old follower, just stopping by from the hop! I love Dengeki Daisy, its like one of my favourite mangas! And I have to get Paranormalcy aswell, but its not released until december in the UK... Have a great weekend :D
ReplyDeleteHappy Follow Friday!!! Hope you will stop by my blog too! My publisher and I are looking for a group of bloggers for a huge blog tour next year before the release of book two in my 'A Sense of Truth' series! We will be giving out a few more copies of The Thirteenth Chime (we can only give out so many, being open to e-books gives an upper hand) and are still open to all interviews and guest posts. We want to fill up the Amazon page with reviews and try to reach as many people as we can!!! Hope you might consider being a part of the team! Thank you either way!
ReplyDeleteSincerely,

What books have you just given up on? I ask because I'm curious, lol, and because I tend to like the books you choose to read and review :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Blog Hop and Follow Friday HERE!
Happy hop and happy weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteFound you on FF. A newcomer and it's really great, I'm enjoying the blog hop. I'm following you now. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi! Just stopping by from the Hop, since you review manga and I review Western comics/graphic novels. I don't read that much manga personally (though I want to get into both Emma and Fruits Basket), but I do have a rec! Nana by Ai Yazawa. It's about two young women with the same name (Nana, of course) who meet each other on a train to Tokyo and decide to become roommates. One is a punk rocker trying to make it big, and the other is a sweet romantic who has gotten burned too many times and is trying to get over a bad relationship. The two of them forge a friendship as strong and beautiful as it is unlikely. I really think you'd like it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a awesome week for you! I look forward to more great reviews! My IMM is here: http://nikkibrandyberry.wordpress.com/
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog! I am going to go check out your Harry Potter stuff, so fun!
