The only other McKinley I've read is the old stuff, The Hero and the Crown and The Blue Sword.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05920772209272112515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1798065526948874468.post-82832798452908302622010-11-10T09:32:40.785-06:002010-11-10T09:32:40.785-06:00I'm looking for a book to pick up next, but it...I'm looking for a book to pick up next, but it isn't going to be Sunshine :D
Thanks for the review...my search is on!Deepalihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05420771146025474892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1798065526948874468.post-65186773041503330492010-11-09T10:01:45.193-06:002010-11-09T10:01:45.193-06:00What about the baking though? It made me hungry reading about it!

I loved this book, but it did get confusing at some points. They just weren't really that great together in my opinion. I did enjoy the book for the most part too though! I couldn't relate to any of the characters and therefore really didn't care how things happened. Glad you enjoyed it though.Rummanah Aasihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12119402559076729383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1798065526948874468.post-86487929467915454392010-11-08T08:27:08.721-06:002010-11-08T08:27:08.721-06:00I haven't heard of this one. I thought you did a lovely job on your summary, I sometimes have a harder time writing those than the reviews themselves! I can definitely see how run on sentences would make things difficult at times and would detract from the story because you're trying to decipher them. Really nice review Alison:)Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14199685365145765394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1798065526948874468.post-26307778812409234072010-11-08T07:25:57.001-06:002010-11-08T07:25:57.001-06:00I was underwhelmed by Sunshine when I read it a fe...I was underwhelmed by Sunshine when I read it a few years ago. I never really got the attraction Rae felt for Con, and there were lots of confusing, run-on sentences.
